BLAST Fall Final: FaZe reaches 18th victory and 4th final

Another final for FaZe, the fourth in Counter-Strike 2. This Saturday, the quintet defeated Complexity 2-1 and will now face Vitality, who also eliminated Cloud9 2-1 in the BLAST Premier Fall Final. The tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark, has a prize pool of US$425,000. As Vitality and FaZe already have places in the World Final (the Fall Final champion would guarantee a spot), the last place in the tournament in Abu Dhabi went to Cloud9, based on their BLAST ranking.

The first semi-final was between Vitality and the Russians from Cloud9. The team led by Dan "apEX" lost the pistol to an ace clutch from Sergey "Ax1Le" on Mirage. C9 opened 12-10, but ended up defending themselves in extra time, which went to Vitality 16-13. At Nuke, Denis "electronic" helped push the decision to Inferno by winning 13-9 with a rating of 1.54 . Finally, C9 opened 11-9, but saw Vitality react and close the game 13-11 with 24k from Lotan "spinx".

This will be the first final of the new Vitality line up, which saw the entry of the British William "mezii" in place of Emil "Magisk" 17 days ago.

In the confrontation between FaZe and Complexity, another 2-1 result. Complexity is giving it a hard time, but it has been very difficult to stop Finn "karrigan's" team, the only Dane to play at the Royal Arena in this competition. FaZe beat Anubis 13-10 and went on to open 11-2. At Nuke, Complexity ran over and won 13-5 with 20k from Michael "Grim". FaZe ended up resolving the game and securing their 18th victory by winning Ancient or 13 to 7.
