CS:GO: Monte, MOUZ, Eternal Fire and Movistar Riders advance on ESL Pro League

Four ESL Pro League games took place this Wednesday, the day that CS:GO community eagerly awaited for the official launch of CS2 and the game has been released! FaZe, 9z, BIG and Complexity last played (probably) a championship in CS:GO. The quarter-finals will be this Thursday and Friday, with two games per day. The grand final in Malta will be on Sunday without any representatives from the Americas.


The day started with the Turks from Eternal Fire eliminating BIG 2-0 (16-14 on Vertigo and 16-10 on Anubis). By 2 to 1 (16-13 on Nuke, 12-16 on Anubis and 16-9 on Ancient), the South Americans from 9z said goodbye after losing to Movistar Riders.




MOUZ made another "clean cut" at the tournament. The victim this time was FaZe with a 2-0, with the scores 16-10 on Mirage and 16-5 on Inferno. Finally, Monte eliminated the last team in the Americas, Complexity, by 2-1 (Ancient: 16-7, Overpass: 9-16 and Anubis: 16-12).
