After the whole Danish soap opera involving Jakob “jabbi” and Martin “stavn” with Heroic, with the two being pivotal in the departure of Casper “cadiaN”, Astralis announced the signing of the duo this Friday. The revelation came after Astralis' early elimination in the BLAST Fall Final, when they were defeated by Heroic.
Jabbi and stavn step in to take the place of Christian "Buzz" and Johannes "b0RUP" and will participate in a meet and greet in Copenhagen, close to the Royal Arena, this Saturday. The duo has already worked with Kasper Straube, director of sports at Astralis, when he was a performance coach at Heroic.
With the change, stavn and jabbi will play alongside Nicolai "device", Benjamin "blameF" and Victor "Staehr".
With the project we are building here in Astralis and the chance of getting to play with one of the greatest players of all time in dev1ce is very exciting to me and isa rare opportunity. Moreover, I'm looking forward to get back on the server with blameF and get to play with Staehr. - said stavn.
The four-time Major champion also said he was excited about the arrival of new talents. He posted that as he gets older, something that inspires him is the talents and different perspectives in the game. Device also took the opportunity to praise his former teammates.
