By mutual agreement, Heroic and Casper "cadiaN" are ending their four-year "marriage", as announced by the Danish organization this Wednesday. The captain helped take the team, which also includes Martin "stavn", René "TeSeS", Rasmus "sjuush" and Jakob "jabbi", to the top of the CS:GO ranking.
The 28-year-old player also spoke out on social media and celebrated his career and the friendships he made.
Heroic had financial problems in the middle of the year and even delayed players' salaries for a period.
With Heroic, cadiaN reached the final of the Major in Rio in 2022 and the semifinal of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. They were also runner-up at IEM Katowice 2022 and won the title of the last two BLAST championships: Fall Finals and Spring Final.
For Dexerto, cadiaN talked about his near future and what he expects in CS2, and views the opportunity of playing abroad as a possibility.
“I believe that a lot of the things we have done correctly in Heroic I can transfer to the next place I’m going to,” cadiaN said. “I know I can bring the five percent that other teams need to win.
