Another title for FaZe in Counter-Strike 2. The team won the FPS game's first tournament, IEM Sydney on October 22, and has now won the Thunderpick World Championship over Virtus.pro. This Sunday, Finn "karrigan" and company took US$ 250 thousand with the win. The squad travels to China this Monday to play the CS Asia Championship.
In a best-of-three series, FaZe won 13-10 at Ancient and needed two OTs to secure the trophy at Vertigo, 19-17. The final was decided with the IEM Sydney champion and the Roobet Cup winner.
FaZe currently occupies 5th place in the rankings, while Jame's VP is in 12th place. The Russians' next commitment is the ESL Challenger Jonkoping, in Sweden, between the 24th and 26th of November.
The European mixed team plays the CS Asias Championships from November 8th to 12th and will have the participation of seven other teams: ENCE (with rumors that snappi will go to Falcons and gla1ve will replace), TYLOO, Astralis, Lynn Vision, MOUZ, Wings Up and Ninjas in Pajamas. The event will distribute US$500,000.
