Magic Squad put Brazil back on top by winning the Free Fire World Series this Sunday. The quartet secured US$300,000 and became the second Brazilian team to become world champions. Magic Squad managed three booyahs and secured 17 more points than second place. LOUD placed 7th overall in the tournament in Thailand.
The champion team had Tiago "Bops", Yago "Yago", Giuliano "Giuh" and Pedro "BuTzin" and coach Lucas "LUUUKING" and sub Erick. The quartet secured the title by securing a victory with booyah in the last fall. Yago came in second place on the MVP table, with four MVPs and 78 eliminations.
In 2022, Magic Squad came in 4th place at the World Championships and the team is already looking forward to return in 2024. Corinthians were the only Brazilians who were world champions when they lifted the trophy in Rio de Janeiro in 2019.
