The final stretch of IEM Katowice is on its way and now there are only four teams left in the battle for US$400 thousand in Poland. ENCE and Falcons met in the quarterfinals with the victory of Emil"Magisk"'s team. In the duel between FaZe and G2, Nikola "NiKo" and company lost 2-0 this Friday. The semis will also feature MOUZ and Spirit and the grand final will be this Sunday at the traditional Spodek Arena.
Although it wasn't a standout day for Robin "ropz", FaZe eliminated G2 by 13-9 on Inferno and then 13-6 on Ancient. Just as a reminder: G2 was the grand champion of 2023. Last year FaZe, which had practically the same squad, did not reach the playoffs.
In the match between ENCE and Falcons, the Saudi org team ended the dream of a Polish team winning at home. Olek "hades" really wanted it and was responsible for 62k on the three maps, but he couldn't hold back the experience behind coach Danny "zonic", champion of five Majors. Falcons won at Mirage 13-5, then lost at Overpass 13-9 and settled the match 13-11 at Nuke.
