IEM Sydney: Complexity and FaZe advance and face each other in the final

FaZe and Complexity had two very similar trajectories in the IEM Sydney and both teams stood out a lot in Counter-Strike 2. Both reached the grand finals after this Saturday's semis. Interestingly, the two are owned by the same company GameSquare, as FaZe announced this Friday. The decision will give the champion US$100,000 and a place at IEM Katowice 2024, which already has G2 and MOUZ guaranteed.

The first semi was between Complexity and G2 and the confrontation started at Anubis with a victory for Jonathan's team "EliGE" by 13 to 8. After, Complexity ran over G2 at Ancient. Nikolai "NiKo's" team won just three rounds and ended up being eliminated by the top 14 team in the world.

The duel beteween FaZe and MOUZ was also a quick one. Robin "ropz" finished the match with a rating of 1.65 and 38 kills. The partials were 13 to 4 on Nuke and 13 to 9 on Vertigo.
