IEM Sydney: MOUZ, BetBoom, ENCE and G2 are in the playoffs

In the first Counter-Strike 2 big tournament, MOUZ, BetBoom, ENCE and G2 are already guaranteed in the IEM Sydney playoffs. There are still two places left at CS2 Arena. Six teams have already been eliminated, including the top 1 and top 5 in the world: Vitality and NAVI, both removed by FaZe. In addition to the two, Apeks, Lynn Vision, Grayhound and Vertex are also out. The final will be this Sunday and the champion will win US$100,000 and guarantee a place at IEM Katowice 2024.

FaZe has been giving teams headaches in the Australian tournament. First, they eliminated Vitality, who are basically without a coach, as the five-time Major champion zonic starts on November 1st with the Falcons, from Saudi Arabia. Then they targeted NAVI, who played without the world's best Oleksandr "s1mple" due to visa issues. Natus Vincere played with coach Andre "B1ad3", who is a Major champion coach. Interestingly, as a player, he was the only one to play an LAN in all five versions of CS: 1.6, Condition Zero, Source, Global Offensive and 2.

The next matches define the two teams that will advance to the playoffs. Complexity, Cloud9, Monte, fnatic, GamerLegion and FaZe remain in the fight. The result will be this Wednesday. The quarterfinals will be on Friday.
