PMGC 2023: IHC takes the title

For two days in a row, Alpha7 gave hope to the Brazilian by finishing in first place during the finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, in Istanbul, Turkey. This Sunday the story was a bit different. The last six matches had a plot twist and the Brazilians ended up in third and witnessed IHC, from Mongolia, take the trophy and US$435,500. Stalwart Esports came in second and Alpha 7 in third.



Alpha7 led the general table for most of the tournament and it was in the 15th match (out of 18) that they lost their place at the top. IHC finished with 142 points, followed by Stalwart Esports with 138 and A7 with 131 points. Out of the top4 teams, three were from Mongolia.


With third place, Lucas "Carrilho's" team won US$ 184 thousand (around R$ 900 thousand). With the fnal standing, A7 repeated the 2022 feat with third place in the tournament in Indonesia.


The MVP went to Zolboot "Zyol", from IHC, who was responsible for 37 eliminations. The 18-year-old player from Mongolia placed third at PMGC 2020 for Zeus Esports.
