Ramboot R10 lose in tiebreaker at Game of the Futures' basketball debut

After the victory in R10 USA's basketball debut at Games of the Future, Ramboot R10, a team made up of Spaniards, lost its first match this Thursday. The clash was against the Chinese from MDMX who won in NBA2k and on the court at Expo Kazan, in Russia. In the upper bracket, R10 USA will face Partizan Esports this Friday.

The event mixes digital challenges with physical matches and in basketball, the Spanish duo from Ramboot R10 ended up losing in NBA2k by 20 to 17. The first team to score 19 points win the digital stage. Next, in 2x2, the match was taken to court and Ramboot R10 even brought the game to a 29-29 draw over the seven minutes played. The decision was taken to a tiebreaker: three free throws for each team. The Chinese scored the first two shots, while Ramboot missed both and the last shot was not necessary. The match was won by MDMX by 31 to 29.

Two of the six teams administered by the Brazilian R10 will play this Friday. Ramboot R10 enters the server in CS2 against HOTU. Afterwards, the two will face each other in Laser Tag. In basketball, R10 USA seeks its second victory at a match against Partizan, from Serbia.
