In the countdown of the Top 20 best Counter-Strike players in the world in 2023, Oleksandr "s1mple" came in 7th place. In this Tuesday's revelation, the Ukrainian was placed worse since 2017, when he was 8th. Since 2018, the GOAT has won first place three times and finished second on two occasions, when he finished behind Mathieu "ZywOo" in 2019 and 2020.
In 2023, s1mple did not win any MVP and even announced a career break in October, with the contract with NAVI running until 2025. The 26-year-old star spent seven years as a starter for the PGL Major Stockholm champion organization.
Through social media, s1mple spoke out, highlighting Daniel "frozen", ex-MOUZ, who now defends FaZe, and ranked 12th on the HLTV list.
The top three on the list will be revealed on January 13th at the HLTV awards ceremony, in Serbia.
