After 11 years we say goodbye to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Valve officially launched Counter-Strike 2 this Wednesday. The game has been open to a few people over the months since it was announced on March 22nd.
If you already had the game on Steam, the update will be done when you open the game. If you don't already have the game, just download it from Steam.
With the launch, several professional players (and amateurs, like Neymar) posted their farewells on social media.
Oleksandr "s1mple" elected as Player of the Decade, for example, showed how long he spent in the game: 23,476 hours. The equivalent of 978 days, which is approximately 32 months (about 2 and a half years!).
Gabriel "FalleN", in turn, compiled his 21-year history in the game and guaranteed that he will not make the same "mistake" in criticizing the new game, as he did with the arrival of CS:GO in 2012.
Brazilian national team star and Al-Hilal striker Neymar also paid tribute to the game. The athlete was present at IEM Rio Major 2022 and has played with several professional players including s1mple and the entire FURIA team.
Marcelo "coldzera", two-time world champion and one of the few players that had one of his great headlights immortalized in Mirage, also paid tribute to the FPS.
