Worlds 2023: T1 reach 6th final; Faker can be 4x champion

JD Gaming, from China, was unable to stop the hosts in the Worlds 2023 semi-final. This Sunday, T1 secured a place in the grand final of the League of Legends championship in South Korea. On the 19th, Faker's team will face Weibo Gaming for the possibility of the greatest LoL player's fourth title in his sixth final.

In the last semi-final in Busan, T1 and JD Gaming faced each other in a best-of-five series. T1 needed four games to get closer to the title. The match peaked at 4,308,901 viewers, making it the most popular semi-final of all time.

The first game lasted 24 minutes and had 23 kills for T1 against eight for JDG. Zeus, with Aatrox, was responsible for eight kills. Then, JDG tied by taking down the nexus in almost 38 minutes. In game 3, Zeus' Aatrox was effective once again and the Korean team won in 30 minutes. To finish, it was with a show by Azir de Faker that the team advanced to the final.

The decision will be at 5 am Brasília time and the face-to-face duel will be in Seoul, the capital of South Korea and home of T1.
