Worlds 2023: Weibo is the first finalist

The first finalist in Worlds 2023, the League of Legends world championship, has already been defined. This Saturday, Weibo Gaming defeated Bilibili and took another step towards the title in South Korea. The Chinese await the champion of the game between T1 and JD Gaming, they play this Sunday in Busan.

The semi was between two LPL teams. Bilibili was a finalist at MSI 2023 and lost to JD Gaming. This Saturday's match lasted five games. Weibo won the first game in 29 minutes with 8 kills from TheShy's Rumble. BLG tied in the second game with a victory in 35 minutes.


In the third game, it was TheShy's turn to shine again with Graves and the nexus was taken down in 28 minutes. Once again, Bilibili caught up with Weibo and tied with 28 minutes of Game 4 and 19 kills compared to just three from Weibo. Finally, Weibo secured a place in the final by winning in 35 minutes by 20 kills to 15, 12(!) from Light's Kalista.


T1 plays this Sunday against JD Gaming. Faker fights again for his fourth title. At Worlds 2022, T1 came second after losing to DRX. JD Gaming was stopped in the semi-final.
